Medical dermatology services include evaluation and management of common and chronic skin, hair, and nail conditions, skin cancer screening, and medically appropriate dermatologic procedures.

Cosmetic services currently include neurotoxin treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, Kybella®, Sculptra®, and select wellness services.

 Yes. GR Dermatology & Wellness accepts a growing number of insurance plans for covered medical dermatology services.

Insurance coverage varies by plan, service, and individual benefits. Patients are encouraged to contact our office before their appointment with any questions regarding participation or coverage.

Cosmetic services and other non-covered services are self-pay.

Yes. Telemedicine appointments are available for many dermatologic concerns, follow-up visits, medication management, and ongoing treatment monitoring.

Some conditions require an in-person examination, diagnostic testing, biopsy, or procedure. If your concern cannot be appropriately evaluated through telemedicine, we will discuss the appropriate next step.

Yes. GR Dermatology & Wellness provides on-site dermatologic care to residents of skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities.

We work with facility staff to coordinate patient evaluations, treatment recommendations, dermatologic procedures when appropriate, documentation, and follow-up care.Yes.  We evaluate and manage a wide range of skin, hair, and nail concerns, including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, skin infections, hair loss, scalp conditions, nail disorders, suspicious or changing skin lesions, and many other dermatologic conditions.

Yes. When medically appropriate, procedures may include skin biopsies, cryotherapy, treatment of certain benign or precancerous lesions, intralesional injections, and other minor dermatologic procedures.

An evaluation may be required before a procedure is recommended or performed.

 Yes. Skin examinations and evaluation of suspicious or changing lesions are available. When appropriate, a suspicious lesion may be biopsied and sent to a pathology laboratory for evaluation.

If additional treatment or specialist care is required, we can help coordinate the appropriate next steps.

 A referral is not always required; however, some insurance plans require a referral or authorization before specialty care.

Patients should review their individual plan requirements or contact their insurance carrier if they are unsure. Our office can also assist with questions regarding scheduling and required documentation.

 Yes. Cosmetic consultations are available to discuss your concerns, treatment goals, and available options.

Treatment recommendations are individualized based on your medical history, anatomy, skin characteristics, and aesthetic goals.

 Cosmetic treatments are generally not covered by health insurance and are considered self-pay services.

Pricing and available payment options can be discussed before treatment.

 Yes. Our medical weight management program provides individualized, provider-guided care based on your health history, previous weight-management efforts, lifestyle, and goals.

Treatment may include nutrition and activity guidance, laboratory evaluation when clinically appropriate, ongoing monitoring, and prescription weight-management medication when appropriate.
